Our Standard

A clear purpose. A considered formula.

Coreffect researched and developed the formulas in our current range. Our Standard explains how we consider ingredient research, evaluate samples and assess the product information supplied by our manufacturer.

The thinking behind our products

Quality is a series of decisions.

The formula, the experience of using the product, its supporting information and the way we explain it all deserve attention. These principles guide our approach to product development.

01 Begin with a purpose

Purpose shapes the formula.

Each product needs a clear reason to exist. We consider its ingredients and amounts alongside the format, directions and experience of using it. In our current range, hydration, fibre and marine collagen share a sachet format but serve different purposes.

We use ingredient research to inform formulation decisions. The relevance of a study depends on the ingredient studied, its form, the amount used and the context in which it was tested.

A reason to exist. A reason for each choice.

02 Consider the whole formula

Each ingredient should earn its place.

We do not add ingredients simply to make an ingredient list look longer. We want the formula to make sense as a whole, with the ingredient choices and amounts considered together.

An ingredient can have a nutritional or practical role. In our drink mixes, that includes nutrients, flavourings, sweeteners and ingredients that help the powder mix or flow. Each should have a reason to be there.

What is its role?

Why this amount?

How does it fit?

The full ingredient list belongs where you can find it: on the product page.

03 Attention beyond the formula

The product. The supporting detail.

We assess samples during development.

For our drink mixes, this includes tasting and checking flavour, sweetness, texture and preparation. The priorities depend on the product and its intended role.

A refreshing electrolyte drink, a fibre drink and a marine collagen blend each call for their own decisions about the everyday experience.

We ask for the supporting documents.

Our manufacturer provides production and testing documentation. We request records appropriate to each product, including certificates of analysis, specifications and relevant quality reports.

We assess the supporting information in the context of the product. Manufacturer testing and ingredient research each have a different role; neither is a clinical trial of a finished Coreffect formula.

04 Make the detail useful

Clear information belongs with every product.

You should be able to understand what you are choosing. Our product pages bring together the complete ingredients, nutrition per serving, preparation directions, dietary details and relevant suitability information.

For our current range, pack totals, sachet counts and the price per sachet help make the purchase clear. Each product page brings together the details for that particular formula.

05 Our approach to product information

Explain the evidence in context.

Ingredient research and evidence for a finished product answer different questions. Our product information keeps that distinction clear, so an ingredient’s presence does not become a promise of a particular result.

When explaining a supported nutrient role, we identify the nutrient responsible. Our category pages offer a starting point; each product page explains its formula, preparation and suitability.

The principles in practice

Different products. Considered individually.

Our current range brings three distinct ideas to the same convenient format.

The standard behind the range

Applied to each product.

These principles guide our current range and the development of future products. The requirements will differ with the product, its format and its intended use. Our product pages explain how those decisions come together in each formula.
